Surround Sound production. Grizzly Studios is the only facility in Western Australia that can fully produce audio in 5.1 surround sound, whether it’s for music or film. This includes recording, mixing, mastering, encoding and authoring, all in 5.1.

Producing & Recording, both at Grizzly Studios and on location. James never really separates the two roles, as they’re so closely related, but you can of course specify what level of involvement you’d like from James as Producer. For classical recording, he prefers to take his mobile rig to a concert hall. There are also special rates available for independent artists.

Mixing. James mixes projects that he has recorded, but also can be hired as a separate mixing engineer, mixing your album which has been recorded at another studio.

Mastering.

Arranging & Composing. James works with international composer, Michael Doherty (The English Patient) to deliver world class string arrangements and film scores. As Michael is a Grizzly Studios affiliate, he offers extremely generous rates to independent Grizzly Studios customers – we're very lucky to have this caliber of composer working with us!

DVD Authoring. This includes encoding to AC-3 or uncompressed LPCM, as well as creating all menus etc.

You can also hire James just as a Producer outside of Grizzly Studios.
